Carlisle Township hosted Lorain County Public Health's (LCPH) District Advisory Council (DAC) annual meeting

On March 26, 2026, the Carlisle Township hosted Lorain County Public Health's (LCPH) District Advisory Council (DAC) annual meeting which was attended by representatives from the county's townships, villages and municipalities. Health Commissioner Mark H. Adams reviewed the health district's Annual Report which highlighted how LCPH lives out its vision of 'improving today for a healthier tomorrow'. The Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) detailed what we learned from last year's Community Health Assessment (CHA) into manageable, collaborative steps to guide our community's work over the next three years. The DAC meeting was the last one in Commissioner Adams' career as he will retire in June and stated that as LCPH leadership changes, their mission and legacy remain constant.
